The beats, bars and energy of hip-hop culture will once again take center stage as the Cypher City Hip Hop Festival returns to Mansfield for another celebration of independent artists, creativity and community.
Taking place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Youth Hall at the Richland County Fairgrounds, the festival continues its mission of creating a platform where emerging artists, musicians, vendors and fans can come together to celebrate the many elements of hip-hop culture.
More than just a concert, Cypher City is designed as a cultural experience bringing together live performances, DJ sets, beat battles, vendors and the spirit of the traditional hip-hop cypher: a space where artists gather to share their voices, skills and creativity.
Organized by Mansfield creative entrepreneur Ryan James, the festival has grown into a showcase for local and regional talent, highlighting the artists and creators helping shape the area’s music scene.
The 2026 event will feature a full lineup of performers from Ohio and surrounding states, including Kasino Kash, The Scarecrow, Aviated Keyaan, Devy Kay, Vaundoom, Mulana 2X, Bulletproof Moo, A.P. The Kidd, LXGND, Don Kartel and Jody Odom. Hosting duties will be handled by Thuh Kōz, with music provided by DJ Dro Jack.
Along with performances, attendees can expect a festival atmosphere featuring local vendors, food, merchandise, community connections and opportunities to support independent creatives.
As hip-hop continues to influence music, fashion, art and culture worldwide, Cypher City represents a grassroots movement built around giving artists a place to be heard and giving the community a place to connect.
For Mansfield’s growing creative scene, the festival has become a summer tradition one where music, expression and community meet in the same space.
