A new summer programme in New York City is bringing together the worlds of hip-hop culture and technology to give young people a unique opportunity to explore creativity through STEM.
The Sound+Science summer programme introduces NYC public high school students to the connections between hip-hop culture and emerging technologies. The programme runs from July 6 to September 2, 2026, taking place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at 1 Rivington Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. It is free for NYC public high school students, including graduating seniors.
