Three decades after redefining hip-hop with his groundbreaking debut album, Jay-Z is marking the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt with a city-wide celebration that pays tribute to one of rap’s most influential records.

The “JAŸ-Z30” campaign transforms New York City into a living museum dedicated to the album’s legacy. Fans can explore exclusive museum-style exhibitions featuring rare memorabilia, iconic photographs, handwritten lyrics, and never-before-seen artifacts from the early days of Jay-Z’s career.
The anniversary celebration also includes special music releases, immersive installations, exclusive merchandise, and a series of pop-up experiences across New York, allowing fans to relive the impact of an album that helped shape modern hip-hop.

Released in 1996, Reasonable Doubt introduced the world to Jay-Z’s sharp lyricism, vivid storytelling, and entrepreneurial mindset. Although it wasn’t an immediate commercial blockbuster, the album has since become widely regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever made, influencing generations of artists and cementing Jay-Z’s place among music’s all-time greats.

Thirty years on, Reasonable Doubt remains more than just a classic album—it’s a cultural landmark, and the JAŸ-Z30 campaign is a fitting celebration of the record that started one of the most remarkable careers in music history.

The exhibit runs from June 25 – July 5 at 92 Plymouth, Brooklyn, NY 11201
