The story of The LOX one of hip-hop’s most respected and enduring hip hop groups is finally coming to the screen in Trinity: The Story of The LOX. The upcoming documentary offers an intimate, unfiltered look at the journey of Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch, three artists whose bond has outlasted decades in a notoriously unstable industry.

Set to premiere at the Tribeca Festival, the film traces their rise from the streets of Yonkers to the upper ranks of East Coast rap. More than a traditional music documentary, Trinity is framed as a time-spanning reflection on loyalty, growth, and the pressures that come with longevity in hip-hop.

At its core, the documentary emphasizes unity. The title itself speaks to more than just the trio’s lineup it represents a rare kind of brotherhood that has remained intact while many groups have fractured. Through industry highs, label disputes, and shifting musical eras, The LOX have stayed grounded in authenticity and mutual respect.

The premiere will also feature a live performance, blending their past and present into one moment. It’s a reminder that while the documentary looks back, the group itself is still very much active and evolving.

Arriving at a time when legacy acts are being re-examined and celebrated, Trinity: The Story of The LOX stands out as a testament to endurance. It’s not just a story about music it’s about staying solid, staying together, and building something that lasts.

The Trinity is set to feature at the 25th Tribeca Film Festival June 3-14.
